New Montagne Jeunnesse Mask Review

Hello Lovelies!
Sorry for the lack of posts, I have been super busy with starting uni and getting used to my new routine. So for today's post I thought I would ease back into things with a quick review of the new Montagne Jeunnesse Dragon Fruit Sauna Mask.

I am a face mask lover for sure, and I especially love the Montagne Jeunnesse masks. They are super affordable and a great way to relax and pamper yourself. My all time faves are Blemish Mud and Passion Peel Off, so I was excited to try out one from their new range.

I picked up Dragon Fruit Sauna at Wilko's and they haven't let me down! The mask smells so fresh and delicious, I wouldn't eat it though, I got some on my lips and I don't know why but I licked them and it didn't taste so good :') The heating aspect was nice too, it was very relaxing and really opened up the pores to get rid of any oil and dirt, so my face was left feeling extra clean.

Overall this is another great mask from Montagne Jeunnesse, and for £1 each they are a real bargain.

Thanks for reading guys. Be sure to let me know what your favourite face mask is in the comments and maybe tweet me a selfie of you wearing a face mask @SherbetLemons96 :)

Essence All About Nude Eyeshadow Palette Review

Hi Lovelies!
Today I want to share with you guys a recent purchase of mine the Essence All About Nude eyeshadow palette, which I picked up in Wilkinsons for just £3.50!

This palette contains 6 beautiful shades, including some shimmery, some matte and some metallic.  Each pan is rather big too which is just amazing for the price. The packaging is nice and simple, as I always mention I feel lower end brands go overboard with their packaging which makes the product look cheap, but Essence has kept it clear and it is nice to see the product. Despite it being plastic, the palette feels sturdy and it is on the smaller size too, so it's perfect for putting in your bag and taking out and about.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the shadows, they are nicely pigmented and easy to blend, but I think they work better when a primer is applied first. Overall this product is great for everyday, even using one shade across your lid just adds a little extra to your look, and at £3.50 you just can't go wrong.

Here is one look I created using this palette...

Essence also has 3 other versions of this palette which I would love to try out, you  can view them here.

I hope you all enjoyed this review, and I would like to thank you for continuing to read my blog and leaving such lovely comments :)

Review : Garnier Moisture Match Shine Be Gone Mattifying Fresh Cream

Hello Lovelies!
Having super oily skin can be a pain when it comes to moisturizing, and if I am being honest it turned into a stage I missed out of my routine. But here in England over the past few weeks we have had hot, sunny weather so I knew I needed to moisturise my face after it had been exposed to the sun all day. With that I went on the hunt for a moisturiser aimed at oily skin.

I bought Garnier Moisture Match Shine Be Gone Mattifying Fresh Cream (that's a long name) whilst it was on sale in Asda for £2 (it is now back to the full price of £5.99), and it's aimed at combination to oily skin. It definitely mattifies the skin, which I was really pleased about so my skin isn't shiny on those make up free days. Further to this Garnier claim "Shine be gone is enriched with Mannose, known for its hydrating properties, and reinforces the skin's barrier function, helping your skin to maintain its level of hydration for 24hrs". Being able to moisturise my oily skin without the grease and the shine is just fab! This product is something I would buy again, even at full price.

I also love the fact that Garnier have created a moisturiser for every skin type,  so you can find your perfect match.

  • Protect and Glow - normal skin
  • Start Afresh - normal/dry skin
  • Goodbye Dry - dry/very dry skin
  • Wake Me Up - dull skin
  • Shine Be Gone - combination/oily skin

I hope you guys enjoyed this review, and that I have helped if you have been looking for your perfect moisturiser.

Review: MUA Shimmer Highlighter

Hello Lovelies :)
As you all know I have been wanting the MUA highlighter for so long, but every time I go into Superdrug they are always sold out! However the other day my prayers were finally answered and I grabbed the last one! I was so excited to try this highlighter out since I have read so many good reviews on it, so I thought I would share with you guys my thoughts ...

The packaging of this product is simple and the embossing is just lovely. Sometimes I feel like cheaper products go over board with the packaging but this rivals any higher end product.

MUA haven't produced this in any other shades, but I think this peachy/pink colour would suit most skin tones.

As you can see this is highlighter creates a very natural glow, and looks lovely. It has definitely become part of my everyday makeup because I feel it completes a look and  isn't too much.

Overall I am really impressed with this product, the quality is great and the price is fab too at just £3. The only bad thing about this is it's always sold out!

Have you tried this highlighter? Let me know your thoughts in the comments :)

Review: Garnier Simply Essentials Soothing Cleansing Lotion

Hello Lovelies!
A couple of weeks ago I purchased this Garnier cleansing lotion, I have used quite a few in the past from different brands, but this has to be my favourite of them all.

Garnier claims : "Enriched with water lily extract known for it's soothing properties, it's formula with no perfume, no alcohol and no colourants, perfectly removes make-up without leaving your skin feeling dry".

.. and it really does work, my skin is left clean and fresh, it easily removes eye makeup and it doesn't sting. I use about 3 pads soaked in this lotion to clean my skin and the lid on this bottle means just enough comes out, so there is no wastage.

Overall I am really impressed by this product, and for just £2.98 it's definitely won a place in my daily skin routine.

Have you tried this cleanser, if not which is your favourite? Let me know in the comments :)
