July Style Crush : Fearne Cotton

Hello Lovelies!

Happy Sunday :) Today I am bringing back my monthly style crush post, in it's previous short life I struggled to get the post out with my monthly faves post and I ended up ditching it. But it's back, and with a little organisation this post will be up the day after my faves post! I really enjoy doing these posts and I hope you enjoy reading them.

So looking back at July Fearne Cotton's (Radio 1 DJ and TV presenter) style really stood out to me. I always love what Fearne wears and she is definitely  one of my style icons, but this month I think she has dressed really well for the British summer. Here are two of my favourite looks ...

Fearne looks bang on trend wearing her ripped jeans and a lovely white top with lace detailing. I love white shirts as they appear fresh and crisp, perfect for the warmer weather we have been having here in Britain. Finishing off the look Fearne sported another one of this seasons trends, a pair of chunky silver sandals. She accessorised with a small black sidebag and another one of my favourite pieces, over-sized tortoiseshell sunglasses.

Here is another one of my favourite looks. Fearne looks great on her way to work, teaming a short sleeved floral shirt with dark chino trousers, again a lovely smart/casual outfit perfect for the warmer weather. Fearne then wore jeweled leopard print sliders, another one of summers trends. The look was complete with a large navy tote and those lovely sunnies.

April Style Crush : Kate Middleton

Hello Lovelies :)
April saw the young royal couple travel around Australia and New Zealand, so with all her lovely outfits The Duchess of Cambridge has to be this months style crush.

For a trip to the zoo, Kate wore this beautiful lemon sun dress with tan wedges. This outfit is perfect for a more relaxed day, but it still isn't too informal with it being a 'royal visit'.

Whilst on the beach in Australia on the 18th of April, Kate wore the lovely Zimmerman 'Roamer Dress'. I just love this look, it's so fresh and perfect for hot summer weather. I can see myself replicating this outfit for an evening out whilst on holiday.

In Queenstown, Kate sported a more relaxed look wearing dark skinny jeans, a checked shirt and a Zara blazer. This outfit is definitely my style, I just love a good blazer. It's great to see Kate supporting the high street brands too! Here is how I would get this look ...

I love Pixie's cute and quirky outfits. Her use of pastel shades is very on trend and suits her hair perfectly and  I also love her fresh, natural makeup. Pixie never over-accessorizes an outfit, here in these two pictures it is clear a statement bag works well, but you aren't distracted away from the lovely clothes she is wearing.

The Spring Tag

Hello Lovelies!

As you guys know I am really excited as it is starting to feel like spring, so today I thought I would do The Spring Tag!

1. Favourite spring nail polish

Well in my last post 'My Spring Nail Collection' I have 6 favourite nail polishes for spring. But if I had to choose I think it would be this polish by Superdry in the colour 'Pink Rose' It looks fresh and bright, perfect for spring!

 2. Must have spring lip colour

This spring I will be wearing theNYX Diamond Sparkle Lipstick in the shade 16, Sparkling Orange. Again I feel this is a fresh colour for spring and I really love the sparkle in it. 

3. Show us your favourite spring dress
I love this dress from Primark which I picked up for only £3! The style and design are very 'springy', and I think it will look lovely with some sparkly sandals.

4. Favourite flower

I don't really have a favourite flower, they are all lovely. But I get excited when the daffodils and blossom start appearing as you know spring is here :)

5. Favourite spring scarf/accessory

During spring I love stacking up bangles and bracelets, and I love anklets too.

6. What spring trends are you most looking forward to?

I'm looking forward to wearing midi skirts and dresses, and fresh white blouses. Also I'm looking forward to putting my big winter coat back in my wardrobe and bringing out my lighter rain mac and blazers.

7. Favourite spring candle
I haven't any spring candles yet, but I have spotted Yankee are doing Easter themed ones! I really need to buy one :)

8. Favourite perfume/body spray 

During the spring and summer I am always spraying the Hollister 'Solana Beach' body spray. I could have included them all in this post, but this is my favourite, it's really sweet and fresh. I have nearly finished this one so I will have to buy another! 

9. What is spring like where you live?

During spring where I live we have some nice days and some rainy, but it feels really crisp and fresh :)

10. What is your favourite thing about spring?

I love the fact everything feels fresh, the leaves start appearing on the trees and the flowers spring up. My birthday is during spring too!

11. Are you a spring cleaner?

I haven't been in the past but this year I am determined, once and for all, I am going to completely sort out my room and get everything cleaned :)

12. Any plans for spring break or upcoming vacations

Not really, I am going away in summer though to France.

What I Bought Today

Hiya lovelies!

Just thought I would do a quick post showing you guys what I bought today, as I went shopping with my little sister in Liverpool. I didn't want to spend much as I am trying to save, but I got a few bargains :)

Firstly I got this bargain dress in Primark. It wasn't the first one I picked up, when I got to the till the lady said the zip was broken on the original dress so I went to change it, but they didn't have anymore in my size. I started looking to see what was left and I saw this one. I wasn't too sure on the pattern but I thought 'hey it's only £3 so I don't mind if I don't like it when I get home and try it on'. It looks lovely on, and will look nice through spring and summer.

 Next I went into Superdrug where they have a 3 for 2 across Maybelline products. I needed a new mascara so I picked up The Falsies (£7.99). I also picked up this Colour Show nail polish in midnight taupe (£2.99) and I really love this colour. I haven't used it yet, so I will take some pictures of what it looks like on when I do. As it was 3 for 2 my sister got a new baby lips :)

I think I did well on the whole 'saving my money' thing I have going on. Trust me there was a lot of temptation!
