What I Bought Today

Hiya lovelies!

Just thought I would do a quick post showing you guys what I bought today, as I went shopping with my little sister in Liverpool. I didn't want to spend much as I am trying to save, but I got a few bargains :)

Firstly I got this bargain dress in Primark. It wasn't the first one I picked up, when I got to the till the lady said the zip was broken on the original dress so I went to change it, but they didn't have anymore in my size. I started looking to see what was left and I saw this one. I wasn't too sure on the pattern but I thought 'hey it's only £3 so I don't mind if I don't like it when I get home and try it on'. It looks lovely on, and will look nice through spring and summer.

 Next I went into Superdrug where they have a 3 for 2 across Maybelline products. I needed a new mascara so I picked up The Falsies (£7.99). I also picked up this Colour Show nail polish in midnight taupe (£2.99) and I really love this colour. I haven't used it yet, so I will take some pictures of what it looks like on when I do. As it was 3 for 2 my sister got a new baby lips :)

I think I did well on the whole 'saving my money' thing I have going on. Trust me there was a lot of temptation!

Baking With Jessica #1 - Quick and Easy Microwave Brownies

Hello lovelies!

Today I thought I would share with you guys one of my favourite desserts to make, chocolate brownies! This is an easy recipe to follow and you only have to cook them in the microwave for a matter of minutes :)

You will need:

- 150g butter

- 100g plain flour

-  200g sugar

-  65g cocoa powder

-  2 eggs

Method:

1. Put the softened butter, sugar and cocoa powder into a bowl and mix together well.

2. Add the eggs, mixing after each one. Then add in the flour and mix together well.

3. Grease a bowl (which is suitable for microwave use) then pour the mix in. Cook for around 4 minutes.

4. After resting for 10 minutes cut and serve. 

These brownies would be scrummy with ice cream or squirty cream and strawberries :P

What's In My 'On The Go' Makeup Bag?

Hello Lovelies!

Today I am going to share with you guys what I keep in my 'on the go' make up bag - the things I like to keep with me when i'm out. 

As I don't want to be lugging around a big bag when i'm on the move I just have this small-ish bag from Jack Wills which is the right size for popping into my handbag. In the pocket on the front I place my little mirror which is also from Jack Wills.

In the main pocket of my bag I like to carry a concealer for touching up any blemishes, at the moment I am using the Bourjois healthy mix concealer. Having a pressed powder with me is also important since I am not blessed with perfect skin and mine gets very oily. This one I am trying out at the moment is the Miss Sporty so clear anti-spot pressed powder, and with that I take my Bobbi Brown face blender brush.

I also take with me a blush for re-applying, I find the Bourjois round pot blushers handy as they are small and come with a little brush and mirror inside. Obviously you cant leave the house without a Lipstick/gloss, at the moment I have been using this Vaseline lip therapy in 'rosy lips' which soothes and gives a nice tint. Lastly I have a mascara in my 'on the go' makeup bag, this one is theSephora lash plumper mascara which I love and seems to last ages!

Welcome To My New Blog!

Hi Lovelies :)

This is my very first post on my new blog. This is the first time I have used blogger so I am getting used to how everything works. Hopefully I can improve the look of the blog as I learn.

With this blog what I want to do is review beauty products, give you guys some fashion ideas, and maybe roomspiration/lifestyle tips/recipes. Above all share with you what I am loving month by month.
